Richard Avedon’s name has been inextricably tied to fashion photography for many decades. His iconic images of celebrities, ordinary people, towns, villages, objects have been shown in magazines, books, posters, billboards, and many exhibitions.
Now, we get a chance to see his work up close at the Museum Of Fine Arts in Boston. The exhibit, “Avedon Fashion 1944-2000” will be on display between August 10, 2010 – January 17, 2011 in the Foster Gallery. This is a rare opportunity to see his work, his original photographs at touching distance. It should be an exciting exhibit.
We stopped by and took a few shots as well.
