Need Photos for Your Nonprofit?
We Can Help — for Free.
The Photographic Society of Rhode Island (PSRI) is proud to support the work of local nonprofit organizations by offering complimentary photography services. Our volunteer photographers are available to create high-quality images you can use for public relations, outreach, fundraising, and social media.
Whether you’re hosting an event, updating your website, or showcasing your mission in action, our team can help you tell your story through compelling visuals.
If your organization needs photography support, please contact us at GivingBack@psri.us, or fill out the contact form below to start the conversation. We’ll be happy to discuss your needs and coordinate a session with our photo club volunteers.
We need to add links to posts or pages describing previous Giving Back efforts.
Our Efforts to Date
Attleboro Arts Museum Flower Show
We were asked by Stony Brook Camera Club to help them with this annual event. We provided pictures of the patrons of the show as well as any of the activities that they had planned.
Lakewood Baptist Church
We have provided photos for some of their musical events including two Palm Sunday concerts. We also photographed the No More Hunger Walk that raised money for feeding families across RI.
Village Common of RI
We have worked with many of the “Villages” of Village Common of RI. Each village encourages healthy living for seniors in their part of the state. We have provided photos for their Volunteer Banquet, for a fundraiser, for a Common Birthday event and for sunset get-togethers.
Rhode Island Black Storytellers
Over Easter break RIBS holds a day camp for area children. We photographed their activities during the week and provided head shots of the leaders for a special project.
House of Hope/ECHO Village
House of Hope has been working to end homelessness in RI since 1989. Their project, ECHO (Emergency COVID Housing Opportunity) Village, opened its doors in February 2025, providing transitional shelter to chronically homeless people.
House of Hope asked PSRI to help their organization tell the story of ECHO Village from the construction phase all the way to the time that the units safely, and with dignity, began providing shelter to 45 Rhode Islanders experiencing homelessness. Through a grant PSRI received from RI State Council on the Arts, House of Hope was able to print 50 of our photos on canvas – those photos are used to decorate the ECHO Village Community Room, staff offices, and will be on public display at House of Hope events.

Pawtuxet River Authority
This non-profit organization whose mission is to improve, preserve and protect the Pawtuxet River. They sponsor clean-ups and maintenance to that area. Every November they hold a 5K race in Coventry. We photographed the runners and the event, and provided digital files of the images.
Ronald McDonald House
This organization supports hospitalized children and their families. PSRI covered their fundraising fair and 3K race.
Waterfire Lighting
One of our members has contributed photos to this organization taken during their events. Waterfire’s mission is to inspire Providence and its visitors by revitalizing the urban experience, fostering community engagement and creatively transforming the city by presenting WaterFire for all to enjoy.
RI Chamber Music
RI Chamber Music is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Rhode Island by presenting chamber music concerts featuring the world’s most renowned, internationally distinguished, award-winning classical artists at unbeatable prices. One of our members contributed photos of their events.
