The Farmer’s Daughter has a butterfly pavilion landscaped with flowering plants housing butterflies and moths indigenous to Rhode Island. They offer entry to photographers and hour early, and they may stay an hour after normal closing hours. The morning is a great time to photograph butterflies as they don’t move around much until the temperature warms up.
Details of Photographer Hours.

Dennis…..Thanks for that info. My wife & I were there 3 weeks ago buying some plants and I thought this would be a good place to come early in the am for butterflies, insects etc. So, this is great. Do you know what time they open in the am…..I will add an earlier hour to that time. Thanks Jim
