Flashback – PSReye Magazine, Volume 1, Issue 1

This is a look back to a unique project featuring PSRI photographers.

In 2009, professor Cemal Ekin arranged for two Providence College photography students to create a single edition of PSReye Focus magazine. The project included soliciting images and articles, reviewing and selecting content, creating a layout, and preparing the files for digital and print-on-demand production at MagCloud. The printed magazine is a high quality glossy product. Providence College students Emma Hansen and John Vaghi led the editorial board with contributions from many photographers and the guidance of PSRI member Cemal Ekin.

The magazine features the photographs and articles of current and former PSRI members and a few Providence College photography students. It was published in early December 2009 in time for PSRI members to purchase them as holiday gifts. A digital copy of the magazine can be viewed here, and downloaded if you create login credentials. You can still purchase a copy if you are so inclined.
