A highly respected program is coming near us. Digital Days Workshop which presents programs all around the country will hold a workshop in Boston on April 18-19. As part of a world wide publishing power house Hachette Filipacchi Media, the photo magazine we all have known for decades, Popular Photography is behind the Digital Days Workshop. It will take place over two days, first day covering the foundations and the second day building upon that. In the workshop, you will learn the basics of photography, digital photography, workflow, digital photo tips; then move to the applications that will build upon the foundation. Topics will include digital fundamentals, photography basics like composition, and basic digital workflow after the shoot, a model shoot session, image critique, setting up your workstation and workflow, and advanced editing.
Digital Days is sponsoring one free admission for PSRI, we will award this to a member either through a raffle or a mini-auction at a meeting in the near future. But, wait, there’s more! All PSRI members are entitled to a 25% discount on the admission fee. The details will be circulated by the PSRI Newscaster in a weekly newsletter soon. It sure looks like a great value for anyone who wants to get some hands-on digital instruction and experience. The Boston appearance of Digital Days Workshop is sponsored in part by Hunt’s Photo, Video. Check out the details on the Digital Days Workshop Web site.
(On April 13, Digital Days extended five more free admissions to PSRI members; we were able to raise additional funds for the club. Thanks Digital Days.)
Is Psri publishing a news letter this year and is it going to be availible on the web site and who is posting the scores from the competitions?
Have a great day
Steve T.
Steve, I don’t think we are publishing the newsletter any more. Competition scores are on the Web site under “Competition/Competition results”.
