PSRI Member Image Selected for Local Show

One of PSRI’s newest member, who also happens to be our youngest member Sophia Paliotti, has an image selected to be in the the 11th Annual Pawtucket Foundation Prize Exhibition at the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative. The show will open on Thursday March 22nd with a reception from 5:30-7:30pm and will run through May 10th.

The show is displayed at the Mill Gallery of the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative, 560 Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket, RI on the first floor, adjacent to Mixed Magic Theatre. The show includes works in all media by eighty-five artists. At the reception there will be live music by Paul Williams and Michelle Hill and refreshments. All are welcome.

Gallery Hours, starting March 22nd: Thursdays, 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Sat/Sunday, 1- 5 pm.

PSRI members that are included in an exhibit, from a single image to a one-person show, and would like to share that information with other PSRI members, please let the web administrator know.

PSRI Member Exhibit Opening

Join Noreen Berthiaume & Michael Di Stefano at the opening and reception of their gallery exhibit on Saturday, November 26 at the The Well Healing Arts Center gallery, 4259 Old Post Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island 02813.

Griffin Museum of Photography

Steve Tierney sent me an e-mail about the programs at the Griffin Museum of Photography. There are several interesting exhibits, presentations that will provide good opportunities to see photographic art in these cold winter days. Spanning several locations, the museum presents a rich collection of photographic art. For a detailed program visit their site and start marking your calendars. Looking ahead, there are more exhibits to come. I wonder if a field trip may be a good idea?

Member Photo on Times Square Display

Our president Christina Richardson has received a significant recognition from Kodak. Her image (on the left) recently received recognition by Kodak and will be part of an exhibit taking place on Kodak’s outdoor video display in Time Square New York! The exhibit runs from around Christmas to mid-January! She says “I can’t believe my name is actually going to be displayed in Time Square! Thank you for the nomination Printmakers!”. We say, Congratulations Christina, well deserved!!

Member Exhibit

Our member Don Fife has his photographs on display in the Warwick Public Library. The show will be hanging during the month of December and the entry is free during the regular library operating hours.
