PSRI Exhibition Digital Photograph Submission - Instructions

Print this page and follow its instructions carefully for a smooth submission session.

This form is only for digital submissions. Please use the slide submission protocol and mail your slides to PSRI. Please read the instructions below and follow them closely to insure a smooth submission, which should only take about 15 minutes to complete.

1. Fill in all the required fields
2. Enter your full first name and full last name, do not abbreviate the names
3. Make sure that your mailing address is correct as the catalog will be sent to that address
4. Before starting the submission session, organize your images in an easy to access directory on your computer and size them to fit in a 1024 (w) x 768 (h) window. Images wider than 1024 pixels or taller than 768 pixels will not be uploaded to the exhibition submission system.
5. To make sure that the colors of your images will not be distorted when projected, convert them to sRGB color space
6. Save your images as JPG files at no more than 70% quality level, depending on method you use to save them. Images larger than 500KB will not be uploaded to the submission system (There is no visual difference between the 100% and 70%, or even lower quality settings in JPEG files.)
7. Your files will be renamed to fit the conventions of the salon and you will get a printable report of the transaction upon successful submission which requires the receipt of your submission fee ($9 for North America, $12 elsewhere in the world). If you pay via PayPal, this will be almost immediate. If you opt to send your payment in the form of an international money order, you will receive your submission report after we receive your payment and enter it into the system.
8. Immediately after selecting each image from your computer, enter the title of it to minimize the likelihood of picture-title mix up
9. Your submission will not be complete until you make a payment, preferably via PayPal where you may be able to use your credit card if you wish, or in the form of international money order to the address below. Do not send us credit card numbers, we are not equipped to accept them.
10. If you cannot make your payment through PayPal, send an international money order in the correct amount ($9 for North America and $12 elsewhere in the world) to the following address making sure that you include a print out of the review page showing your submission code so that we can mark your entry paid.

    Until we receive your payment your photographs are not included in the exhibition. Upon receiving your payment, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail.
11. You will have the opportunity to review your information before submitting them. Please check your entries carefully, you will not be able to change them after submitting them to the exhibition.
