Yellowstone in Winter

Frosted Bison

In early February I traveled to Yellowstone National Park to photograph the wildlife and landscape.  Much of the park is closed to automobile traffic as the majority of the roads are maintained for snow vehicle use only. The only exception is the road that runs along the northern section of the park.  My trip included four day-long excursions into the park on a “snow yacth” as a participant in a photo tour and three days of independent travel along the northern road.  You can read my trip report and review of the Natural Exposures Yellowstone in Winter Photo Tour.
