Welcome
Well, Spring is here, flowers are starting to bloom, birds are nesting, it’s finally drying out. Spring is the time of new growth, and perhaps it can be a catalyst for growth” in your photography. Try something new, go somewhere you haven’t been before with another club member. Share a favorite place with other members. Just look in your back yard, and you may find a subject to try one of the macro tips you learned this year, or experiment with your polarizer on vegetation, or even try a technique you read about in a magazine or book. We’ve learned a number of new techniques this year, new ways of “seeing”, and spring is an excellent time to start experimenting. The days are longer; you can actually get some photography in after work.
PSRI Members, consider joing the fun at the Annual Awards Banquet. Normally this is the last event of the season. This year we will host a presentation by noted photographer John Shaw on 26 June 2010 at 7 pm. See the calendar for details.
Perhaps I’ll see some of you at the NECCC conference in July.
Have a good summer, be safe, and I hope to see you in the fall.
Dennis Goulet
President, PSRI
